Hi everyone, I’d like to share something with you. Today, I created a GoFundMe to help with urgent and ongoing vet bills for our beloved boy, Baz. Mike’s post on Facebook about his faithful friend broke my heart.

Yes, Baz is insured but we aren’t sure how long that given money will last, hence the fundraising page I set up today with Mike’s permission. Already there is more than £700 in the fund, I’m humbled and amazed. It’s such a great way to show Mike some love, support and care, and to give back to him what he has selflessly given to his community over the last 8 years.
Not long after the Nast Hyde Halt renovations were completed, Mike needed an emergency operation to reattach his bicep tendon (OWCH) so exhausted his savings to have the necessary work done. Until recently, Mike was steadily rebuilding his savings, when he had to again empty his bank account to pay for urgent life saving treatment for his cat, Lodger. I cannot stand by and do nothing if Mike is in the same dilemma with Baz and doesn’t have the necessary funds.
